Powerhouse singer, Broadway performer, and television actress Roz Brown continues The Bradstan Cabaret Series with a tribute to Motown at The Eldred Preserve on July 21 at 7 p.m.
Called “an appealing actor and singer with a fresh and straightforward voice that carries surprising force and elasticity” by The New York Times, Brown consistently delivers energetic and compelling performances. Brown’s tribute to Motown displays her exceptional talents with an eclectic mix of Motown, R+B, Soul, Rock + Roll, and Top 40’s as she effortlessly crosses the boundaries between genres.

New York-native Brown has performed on Broadway, television, and all stages in between; she has worked with Tony Award-winning directors and shared the stage with music legends such as Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, and Aretha Franklin, and is currently the lead female singer for Independent Counsel of Funk (ICF). Appearing in Broadway’s “Dreamgirls,” television’s “Blue Bloods,” and much more, her impressive and versatile career proves her to be a well-rounded talent.
The 2024 Bradstan Cabaret Series lineup also includes Jeff Harnar, Ann Hampton Callaway, Jeanne MacDonald, John Pinto Jr. with Jaron Barney, and Maureen Langan The series incorporates performances across a variety of genres, including classic cabaret, Broadway tunes, Rock + Roll, Motown, and comedy.
