Accompanied by Pianist, Vocal Coach Doug Peck
Broadway star Margo Seibert will continue The Bradstan Cabaret Series at The Eldred Preserve, accompanied by well-known pianist and vocal coach Doug Peck, on Sunday, June 29 at 7 p.m. The evening will feature an unforgettable set peppered with the iconic sounds of Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, and Patsy Cline, alongside beloved Broadway tunes and even a touch of yacht rock.
Seibert, a Drama Desk winner, has proven herself to be a uniquely captivating and versatile performer, writer, and activist. After originating the role of Jane in Broadway’s first a cappella musical, “In Transit,” she co-starred in Dave Malloy’s “Octet” for its world premiere at Signature Theatre and its West Coast premiere at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. She is best known for her critically acclaimed performance as Adrian in the Broadway musical “Rocky.”
Beyond her work on the Broadway stage, Seibert has performed in various concert settings. Alongside esteemed musical directors, Seibert has performed in concerts at Carnegie Hall, Birdland Jazz Club, Feinstein’s/54 Below, 92nd Street Y, National Gallery of Art, Joe’s Pub, and many others. She can also be seen on television in “Boardwalk Empire,” “Elementary,” “Instinct,” “The Good Cop,” and “FBI International.”
Peck, her fellow performer, is a highly sought-after pianist and vocal coach with an impressive Broadway pedigree. He has collaborated with stars and ensemble members of numerous hit Broadway musicals including “Six,” “Moulin Rouge,” and “Hamilton.” His expertise extends to coaching artists such as Skylar Astin and Ben Folds, indicating a broad musical sensibility that will complement Seibert’s diverse setlist.
“The Bradstan Cabaret Series is thrilled to feature the exceptionally talented Margo Seibert, and her guest Doug Peck,” said Scott Samuelson, Chief Operating Officer at The Eldred Preserve. “Her impressive vocal abilities and captivating stage presence promise a delightful evening for our guests.”
