ABOUT ANN
Ann Hampton Callaway is one of the rare cabaret artists who can do it all—sing, write, play, interpret, and connect—while making it seem effortless. A Tony-nominated actress, acclaimed singer-pianist, composer, lyricist, arranger, and educator, Callaway has built an extraordinary career at the intersection of cabaret, jazz, pop, and the Great American Songbook. She is also a songwriter with remarkable cultural reach: she wrote and sang the theme song for The Nanny, and her songs have been recorded by artists including Barbra Streisand, helping establish her as a platinum-selling songwriter whose work extends far beyond the cabaret room. Her many honors include her 2023 induction into the Women Songwriters Hall of Fame.
