ABOUT JESSICA
Jessica Molaskey is a veteran of a dozen Broadway shows, including the revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapineโs โSunday in the Park with George,โ which was nominated for nine Tony Awards. She has appeared in โA Man of No Importanceโ at Lincoln Center, โParadeโ (directed by Hal Prince), โDream,โ โTommy,โ โCrazy for You,โ โLes Misรฉrables,โ โCity of Angels,โ โChess,โ โCats,โ and โOklahoma!โ She most recently played the role of Marie in the New York City Center Encores! critically-acclaimed production of โThe Most Happy Fella.โ Jessicaโs off-Broadway credits include โSongs For A New Worldโ, โDream Trueโ, โWise Guysโ (Stephen Sondheim, Sam Mendes), and โWeird Romanceโ (All Original Cast Recordings).
Jessica has five critically-acclaimed solo CDs and has performed in concert from Lincoln Center to Carnegie and Disney Hall to the Montrรฉal and Monterey jazz festivals. She has also performed her critically-acclaimed solo concert, โPortraits of Joni Mitchell,โ as part of Lincoln Centerโs American Songbook series at The Allen Room.
ABOUT JOHN
Established as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook, guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli has expanded that repertoire by including the music of Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antรดnio Carlos Jobim, and the Beatles. In addition to being a bandleader and solo performer, John has been a special guest on recordings for major pop names such as Natalie Cole, Kristin Chenoweth, Tom Wopat, Rickie Lee Jones, and Dave Van Ronk, as well as leading jazz artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Ruby Braff, Johnny Frigo, Buddy DeFranco, Harry Allen, and, of course, his father Bucky Pizzarelli.
He won a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category as co-producer of James Taylorโs โAmerican Standardโ in 2021. He has performed on Americaโs most popular national television shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and Great Performances, as well as the talk shows of Jay Leno, David Letterman, Regis Philbin, and the Macyโs Thanksgiving Day Parade.
