The original Bradstan Country Hotel’s first-ever solo performer and local fan-favorite, Jeanne MacDonald, graces the stage of The Eldred Preserve once again on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.
Known as one of New York’s finest cabaret singers today, MacDonald embraces a broad range of songs from the American popular music tradition. “An Evening with Jeanne MacDonald” showcases her far-reaching talents with a variety of numbers, from jazz to musical theater — and everything in between. Since her debut performance at the original Bradstan Country Hotel, where she recorded her hit CD “Live At The Bradstan,” MacDonald has earned a reputation as an honest interpreter of lyrics and a passionate performer.
She has performed in numerous renowned venues, such as the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel, the FireBird Cafe, The Hideaway Room at Helen’s, the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s Annual Cabaret Convention, and regularly on the stage of the beautiful Metropolitan Room in Chelsea. MacDonald is a well-decorated performer who has won the Bistro Award for Outstanding Vocalist, the MAC Hanson Award, the MAC Award for Female Vocalist, and was presented with the Julie Wilson Award for excellence in cabaret on the stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center in 2005.

The remainder of the 2024 Bradstan Cabaret Series lineup includes the return of John Pinto Jr. with Jaron Barney and The Bradstan debut of Maureen Langan. The series incorporates performances across a variety of genres, including classic cabaret, Broadway tunes, Rock + Roll, Motown, and comedy.
