Liz Callaway and Ann Hampton Callaway are reuniting to bring their all-new show “Broadway the Calla-way!” to The Eldred Preserve on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
“Broadway the Calla-way!” is the third show the sisters have created together. They performed their award-winning show “Sibling Revelry” at venues across the nation and “Boom!,” a previous act, debuted in the top 25 on Billboard Jazz. They have each shared their love of music both on stage and on the big screen.
Liz Callaway made her first Broadway appearance in “Merrily We Roll Along” and has since starred in “Cats,” the original cast of “Miss Saigon,” and “Baby,” for which she received her Tony Award nomination. She has also lent her voice to Disney classics such as “Beauty and the Beast,” “Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride,” and as Princess Jasmine in “Aladdin 2: The Return of Jafar” and “Aladdin and the King of Thieves.”
Ann Hampton Callaway was named 2022 Entertainer of the Year by BroadwayWorld’s Editor’s Pick. She is a Platinum Award-winning writer who has composed for Barbra Streisand and Carole King and has shared the stage with notable artists including Stevie Wonder and Liza Minnelli. Her performance in the hit Broadway musical “Swing!” earned her a Tony Award nomination.
“We are excited to have the Callaway sisters performing together at Bradstan Cabaret this year,” said Chief Operating Officer Scott Samuelson. “With a show full of humor, harmony, and spontaneous improvisation, Liz and Ann’s performance is sure to delight everyone in attendance!”
Between the two of them, their vocal talents and lyrical abilities have earned an Emmy, 15 MAC Awards, several Bistro Awards, Drama Desk nominations, an Academy Award nomination, and more.
The 2023 Bradstan Cabaret Series lineup includes returning favorites and welcomes other artists like comedian Tom Cotter, the final show of the series.
