Mark Nadler, New York’s King of Cabaret, is bringing his one-man show to The Eldred Preserve on Sunday, July 23 at 7 p.m.
Known for his vast repertoire — including showtunes, pop standards, and turn-of-the-century songs — Nadler has written and performed in dozens of touring, Broadway, and off-Broadway productions, as well as television programs.
“Mark’s high-energy performance style has rightfully earned him the title of ‘Mr. Show Business’ from The New York Times,” said Chief Operating Officer Scott Samuelson. “His one-man act of piano-playing, storytelling, singing, and dancing is sure to be an evening of can’t-miss entertainment.”
Nadler, an internationally acclaimed pianist, singer, tap-dancer, and comedian, has performed as a soloist with major orchestras, playing everywhere from Carnegie Hall to Philadelphia’s 14,000-seat amphitheater at The Mann Center.
He is the recipient of the 2015 Broadway World Editor’s Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year. Nadler’s additional accolades include eight awards from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets, three Backstage Bistros, two New York Nightlife Awards, two Broadway World Awards, and two Bay Area Outer Critics’ Circle Awards.
The 2023 Bradstan Cabaret Series lineup also includes returning favorites like Jeanne MacDonald and the Callaway sisters (Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway), and welcomes other artists like Sally Mayes, Lumiri Tubo, and comedian Tom Cotter.
