The Eldred Preserve is pleased to announce that The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge, designed by The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry, was awarded a Gold Design Excellence Award in the Hospitality | Restaurants category from the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Georgia Chapter.
Recognized annually, the Design Excellence Awards honor the best commercial and residential design, including single and multi-family housing, office, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and student work.
“The Silnas had a vision of weaving the natural beauty of the Catskills into every aspect of The Eldred Preserve, including The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge,” said Scott Samuelson, chief operating officer at The Eldred Preserve. “The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry did an outstanding job of bringing that vision to life for all our guests, and we are honored by this recognition.”
The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry, an award-winning restaurant design firm based in Atlanta, Ga., designed The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge with modern, contemporary touches that seamlessly integrate to the natural surroundings through the use of wood, stone, and glass.
Notable features include 26-foot-tall windows and operable glass walls which offer unobstructed views of the picturesque landscape and open-air terraces for al fresco dining, in addition to several unique experiential spaces such as a wine-tasting room, a private dining room, and a sunroom dining area.
The ASID is the oldest and largest professional organization for interior designers, including the Georgia Chapter’s 660 practitioner members, 225 Industry Partners, and 250 student members.
