Emmy Award-Winning Comedian Judy Gold Brings Unfiltered Stand-Up to The Eldred Preserve

The Eldred Preserve is delighted to welcome Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, and author Judy Gold to the stage for a special installment of its Bradstan Cabaret Series on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.

Known for her bold, brash, and unapologetically honest comedy, Gold delivers a high-energy performance that is equal parts hilarious and thought-provoking. Her stand-up blends personal storytelling—drawing from her Jewish identity, family life, and LGBTQ+ experience—with sharp political humor and cultural commentary. With her animated delivery and no-holds-barred approach, Gold tackles topics like gender roles, religion, and homophobia, creating an experience that’s both wildly funny and deeply relevant.

Judy Gold‘s reputation for witty, intelligent comedy precedes her,” said Scott Samuelson, chief operating officer at The Eldred Preserve. “Her fearless style and unique voice make her a perfect fit for the Bradstan Cabaret Series. We’re thrilled to bring her to our intimate stage and know our guests are in for an unforgettable evening of laughter and connection.”

A mainstay of the New York comedy scene for decades, Gold has earned two Emmy Awards for her work on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” and her stand-up specials have aired on HBO, Comedy Central and LOGO. She was also featured in Netflix’s “Stand Out: An LGBTQ+ Celebration,” the Hulu documentary “Hysterical,” and the new Netflix documentary “Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution.”

In addition to her work on stage and screen, Gold is the author of “Yes, I Can Say That: When They Come for the Comedians, We Are All in Trouble,” a bold and thought-provoking book that examines the importance of free expression in comedy—and why it matters now more than ever.

The 2025 Bradstan Cabaret Series continues its mission of bringing world-class talent to the heart of Sullivan County, with upcoming performances by Broadway legend Andrea McArdle and powerhouse vocalist Patti Greco Sunshine, offering audiences a range of genres from classic cabaret to musical theater and comedy.

Tickets for Judy Gold’s performance are available now at theeldredpreserve.com/cabaret. Doors open at 6 p.m., with cocktails and light fare available. Guests can also enjoy dinner at The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge in advance of the show and receive 15% off their meal.
