It’s the wedding of the year — but someone won’t make it to the honeymoon. The Eldred Preserve invites guests to step back into the Roaring ’20s for Death of a Gangster: A 1920s Mafia Marriage Murder Mystery, an interactive dining experience set for Sunday, Oct. 26. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m.
Set amid a lavish 1920s wedding, the evening combines mystery, comedy, and intrigue as two powerful families collide. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal prepared by the chefs at The Homestead Restaurant + Lounge while becoming part of the action themselves — mingling with mobsters, dodging family feuds, and piecing together clues as the story unfolds around them.
“Our Murder Mystery Dinners give guests more than just a meal—they deliver an experience,” said Scott Samuelson, chief operating officer of The Eldred Preserve. “It’s an immersive theater paired with gourmet dining, where every guest has a front-row seat to the action.”
Tickets are $110 (plus tax and fees), with seating limited to 100 guests. Guests are encouraged (but not required) to dress in 1920s-inspired attire to complete the experience. Reservations are strongly recommended and are available at theeldredpreserve.com/entertainment/gangster.
Entertainment will be provided by The Murder Mystery Co., known nationwide for its lively and engaging performances.
