Broadway Actress, Singer Karen Mason to Close Out The Bradstan Coming Home Cabaret Series at The Eldred Preserve

ELDRED, N.Y. – November 29, 2022 – Award-winning Broadway actress and singer Karen Mason returns to The Eldred Preserve on Sunday, Dec. 11 to conclude the 2022 Bradstan Coming Home Cabaret Series with her festive performance, “The Christmas Show!”

Mason, called “An American Idol” by The New York Times, opened the revived Bradstan Coming Home Cabaret Series in May, 2022 with her show “Kander & Ebb…And All That Jazz.” Her performance was highly anticipated and well-received, and as a result, The Eldred Preserve has invited her to close out the cabaret series with her legendary tribute to the holiday season.

The star of Broadway’s Mamma Mia!, Wonderland, Hairspray, and Sunset Boulevard, as well as the first U.S. tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies, Mason was a frequent performer at the original Bradstan’s Inn Cabaret Series in White Lake, N.Y. and a personal favorite of The Eldred Preserve founders Dan and Joan Silna.

“We are so fortunate to have Karen grace our stage not once, but twice for this year’s cabaret series,” said Scott Samuelson, the chief operating officer at The Eldred Preserve. “Karen is talented beyond belief, and we are looking forward to her festive performance that is sure to get guests in the holiday spirit.”

Mason, seamlessly transitioning between Broadway, recording, concert, and television, has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Feinstein’s/54 Below, and The Drury Lane Oakbrook, as well as Royal Albert Hall in London. She has recorded eight albums, including her latest release “Let The Music Play,” featuring the newest song from Paul Rolnick and David Friedman. Most recently, Mason was featured opposite Ewan McGregor on the hit Netflix miniseries “Halston.”

Hosted by Samuelson and Eddie Dudek, the original cabaret series became an annual tradition that was a favorite amongst tourists and locals alike, including the Silnas. When The Bradstan Boutique Hotel found a new home at The Eldred Preserve, Samuelson, Dudek, and the Silnas decided to revive the cabaret series, which will continue in 2023 with a new slate of performers yet to be announced.

Tickets for Mason’s performance, the last show of the 2022 Bradstan Coming Home Cabaret Series, are on sale now at theeldredpreserve.com/holidays.
