Seen on America’s Got Talent and The Late Show, Pizzi brings stand-up, ventriloquism, magic, and mentalism to The Eldred Preserve
The Bradstan Cabaret Series is known for soaring vocals, powerhouse performers, and intimate nights of live music — but on Sunday, August 30, the spotlight shifts to something louder, looser, and far less predictable. Nationally touring comedian, ventriloquist, magician, and mentalist John Pizzi returns to The Eldred Preserve for a high-energy evening of comedy, illusion, improvisation, and audience-fueled mayhem. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with showtime at 7 p.m.
Pizzi’s fast-moving one-man show blends stand-up comedy, ventriloquism, sleight-of-hand magic, and mentalism into a performance built for the room in front of him. With razor-sharp timing, a cast of unpredictable puppet characters, and enough audience interaction to keep everyone alert, Pizzi turns the intimate Bradstan Cabaret setting into part comedy club, part magic show, and part controlled chaos. Because so much of the performance depends on live improvisation, no two shows are ever the same.
“People come to The Bradstan expecting to be moved by a beautiful voice,” said Scott Samuelson, chief operating officer of The Eldred Preserve. “John gives them something just as immediate and personal, but in a completely different way. His show feeds off the room, the audience, and the unexpected — which makes it a perfect fit for a cabaret setting.”
A seasoned headliner with thousands of live performances to his name, Pizzi has brought his one-man show to comedy clubs, theaters, resorts, colleges, and corporate stages across the country. He has appeared on two seasons of NBC’s America’s Got Talent and has been featured on CBS’s The Late Show and ABC’s What Would You Do? His signature style is clean, quick, interactive, and relentlessly funny, with the ultimate goal of filling the room with roaring laughter.
