The Eldred Preserve will welcome Ann Hampton Callaway to The Bradstan Cabaret Series on Sunday, July 12, for an intimate performance of “Here’s to Life.” Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with showtime at 7 p.m.
The uplifting evening of song celebrates life’s beauty, complexity, and resilience through selections from Arlen, Porter, Rodgers, the Bergmans, contemporary writers, and Callaway’s own original work.
A Tony-nominated actress, acclaimed singer-pianist, composer, lyricist, and arranger, Callaway has built a celebrated career at the intersection of cabaret, jazz, pop, and the Great American Songbook. She is widely known as the writer and performer of the theme song for “The Nanny,” and her songs have been recorded by artists including Barbra Streisand.
Christopher Loudon of JazzTimes has called Callaway a “superbly intelligent, singularly creative pop-jazz stylist who can stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Streisand, Ronstadt, Shirley Horn, and Dianne Reeves…”

Callaway has recorded more than 50 CDs as a soloist and guest artist, and in 2023 was inducted into the Women Songwriters Hall of Fame. Her work as a performer and songwriter has earned her recognition across the worlds of theater, jazz, cabaret, and popular music.
